This Museum is a privately owned museum located in Siddhartha Nagar, Mysore.

If you are planning to visit any places in and around Mysore, this will definitely be an addition to the  Mysore visit(and remember Nearby you can also plan to visit the regional History museum which is maintained by govt of India and there is no entry fee there.
 and you can cover both of the places together). Since this is privately owned, there is also an entry fee of 60 rs for entry(free for kids under 5 years of age).

Timings to visit this place are between 9.30Am to 7.30pm

 

This museum has a few wax creations of Indian cultural tradition and some creations also represent different parts of world too..But They have the largest collections of musical instruments..This entire visit can be completed within 30min to 1 hour to the max.

History Museum and melody museum is located nearby in Siddhartha Nagar, Mysore. and you can plan to visit both of them at once.

Regional History Museum is well maintained, spacious, and has quite a collection which exhibits on plants, animals, and geology of region of India. 

They have unique sea shell collections, sculpture collections, butterfly collections, ecology representations, animal and human evolution representations, and many more. you need at least 2 hours to see this properly. it can be a good educational tour for kids

Spiders usually have eight eyes(some have 6 or fewer) and also they have 8 legs. Yes you heard it right...!!!

Since the spiders found at home are usually tiny, we haven't observed their eyes...But if you find a little big spider, and if you happen to observe them very closely, you can clearly see that they have more than 2 eyes.. !!

They have very tiny two very large front eyes to get a clear, color image and judge distance, and extra side eyes to detect when something is moving.
